Long Description:
Porthios Kanan is an elf ranger with a long history. Growing up in the court of the Speaker of the Sun, Porthios was taught from birth to take on the mantle of the next Speaker. During the War of the Lance, Porthios led many guerrilla attacks against the Dragonarmies as they prepared to invade his homeland of Qualinesti. Following the War of the Lance, Porthios took it upon himself to lead the elven forces in the fight against the Silvanesti Nightmare. He became the next Speaker of the Sun.

Depicted in a rather regal pose, as a reflection of his upbringing, his highly ornate bracers and shoulder pads are also an indication of a rather lavish lifestyle or origin. Despite this, his boots and garments reveal a rather practical nature for combat and travel. He carries a hidden holstered sword on his waist behind his back, ready to be drawn at the sight of danger. He also has a quiver on his back with different arrows ready to be drawn.

The base is a near stark contrast to his clothing, indicating that despite the lavish origins, there is an adventurous side to the hero and his union with nature. The angled rock covered in growing roots and leaves draws the eye, but several natural elements further enhance the untamed nature of the environment.
